Released at ALM 2024, this research involved surveying over 1,500 consumers to gain insights into their thoughts, preferences, and concerns regarding their personal data and digital advertising overall. Our findings show that the industry must better inform consumers about data usage and protections, the benefits it provides, and the role of data in keeping the internet free and open via advertising.
